UAS Ambient Sensing Thermometer

The Model UAS ambient sensing thermostat is a NEMA 4X-rated junction box designed to control a single SRL or SRME heat trace cable based on ambient air temperature in non-hazardous environments. This unit provides a reliable and efficient solution for automatic heat trace control, helping maintain proper system operation while minimizing energy consumption.
The enclosure is constructed for durability in harsh conditions, offering water-resistant and corrosion-resistant protection. It includes provisions for a single cable entry, an integrated terminal block, and a 3/4″ opening for conduit hub connection. The unit can be pipe-mounted for convenient installation in a variety of field applications.
A stainless steel sensing probe (9/16″ diameter x 3″ long) ensures accurate ambient temperature detection. The adjustable temperature set point ranges from 0°F to 225°F with 10°F scale increments, allowing precise control based on application requirements. The switch is rated for 22 amps, SPDT, and supports operating voltages from 120 to 480 VAC.
Designed for operation in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 160°F, the Model UAS is ideal for use in ordinary, non-hazardous locations where dependable ambient temperature control of heat tracing systems is required.
UBC Line Sensing Thermostat

The Model UBC pipe sensing thermostat is a NEMA 4X-rated junction box designed to control a single SRL or SRME heat trace cable based on pipe temperature in non-hazardous environments. It provides accurate and reliable temperature regulation to maintain process conditions and protect piping systems.
This unit features a rugged, corrosion-resistant enclosure with water-resistant cable entry for a single cable, an integrated terminal block, and a 3/4″ conduit opening for easy connection. The design supports pipe mounting, making it well-suited for field installations across a variety of applications.
A stainless-steel sensing bulb (1/4″ diameter x 7-1/4″ long) with a 3-foot capillary provides precise pipe temperature measurement. The adjustable temperature set point ranges from 0°F to 400°F with 10°F increments, allowing flexibility for a wide range of process requirements. The switch is rated for 22 amps, SPDT, and operates across 120 to 480 VAC.
Built for durability, the enclosure incorporates stainless steel hardware, captive cover screws, and secure connection blocks to ensure long-term reliability. T1441 RTD Sensor

The T1441 Series RTD sensor is a 3-wire, 100 ohm platinum temperature sensor designed for accurate and reliable temperature measurement in heat tracing applications. It connects directly to a temperature controller or thermostat to regulate heat trace circuits and maintain proper process temperatures.
Engineered for durability and ease of installation, the sensor includes a mounting tab for secure attachment to pipes or vessels. The stainless-steel sheath provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance in demanding environments.
The T1441X model features an explosion-proof cast aluminum head, making it suitable for use in hazardous locations. It is rated for Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D and meets NEMA 4 and NEMA 7 requirements, ensuring safe operation in areas where flammable gases or vapors may be present.
With a Class B accuracy tolerance (±0.12%) and a standard 1/2″ NPT connection, the T1441 Series delivers dependable temperature measurement for critical heat tracing systems in both general-purpose and hazardous area installations.
RTD4AL RTD Sensor

Designed to interface with controllers or control panels, these sensors deliver precise feedback to automatically energize heat trace circuits and maintain required process temperatures.
The Model RTD4AL features a rugged NEMA 4X aluminum enclosure and a 316 stainless steel sheath, offering excellent durability and corrosion resistance in harsh environments. With a sensing range of -100°F to 900°F and an accuracy of ±1°F at 32°F, it delivers dependable performance across a broad range of operating conditions. The sensor utilizes a 100 ohm platinum RTD element (alpha = 0.00385) and includes a standard 3/4″ NPT connection for easy installation. It is CSA certified for U.S. and Canadian standards and approved for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, and Class II, Division 2, Groups E, F, G hazardous locations.
